Instructions on How to Set Up Wii Game Accessories

• The Nintendo Wii console works with a number of attachments and accessories. Things like the Balance Board, Motion Plus and Zapper attachment all enhance or even give you new ways to connect to the game you are playing. To fully appreciate these accessories, they need to be set up correctly. Each of the devices comes with instructions, but if you have lost the manuals, they are still fairly simple to set up

Wii MotionPlus

• Remove the silicone skin on your Wii remote, if you have one on
• Plug the WiiMotionPlus attachment to the bottom of the Wii remote, so that the plug on the attachment fits into the port on the bottom of the controller and the piece clips into place.
• Pull the silicone skin attached to the MotionPlus attachment over and around the front of the Wii remote. The attachment will work whenever your Wii remote is powered on and playing a compatible game

Wii Zapper

• Remove any attachments or accessories, including the silicone skin, from your Wii remote.
• Slide the Wii Remote into the rectangular space on the top of the Wii Zapper device. Push the front of the remote in first, then clip the back end into place
• Plug the Nunchuk accessory into the back of the Wii Remote. You can use the Zapper this way, if you would like. Alternately, you can clip the Nunchuk into place and hold the back of the gun case. To do this, continue below
• Remove the Clip on the back of the Zapper handle, and the Wire compartment cover behind the front handle
• Slide the Nunchuk into the shaped groove at the back of the gun. Clip the Nunchuk into place with the clip you removed earlier
• Coil the cable connecting the Nunchuk to the Wii Remote and place it inside the compartment on the front of the rear-most handle. Place the handle cover over the coiled wire. You can now use a the Wii remote more naturally as though it were a gun

Wii Wheel

• Remove any accessories and attachments from the Wii remote
• Dangle the wrist strap on the remote, if attached, through the hole in the back of the Wii Wheel.
• Push the Wiimote into the Wii Wheel, so that the black lens on the remote fits behind the lens on the Wheel accessory. You can now use the Wii Wheel in racing games
• Wii Speak
• Plug the Wii Speak accessory into a spare USB port on the back of your Wii console. Place the curved microphone piece at the other end of the cable on top of your TV.

• Flip the Balance Board over and open the Battery Hatch. Plug in the four AA batteries into the bottom of the Balance Board. • Flip the Balance Board right-side up again. Position it so that the front of the board faces the TV head-on, and the button on the back of the board faces away from the screen
• Power on your Wii Console and begin a Balance Board compatible game
• Push the button on the Balance Board when prompted by your game. The game will connect to the board and automatically calibrate the device
• Stand on the board when prompted by the game to use its features
